NEWS The South Adams Fire District is pleased to announce the opening of their new maintenance facility located at 8598 Rosemary Street, as well as the accusation of the property at 103rd and Walden Street from Shea Homes for the development of Fire Station #8, work should begin before the end of 2007. Property in the area of 112th and Peoria street is currently being negotiated for the development of Fire Station #7, with work scheduled to start in 2008.
NEW FLEET MAINTENANCE FACILITY Construction began in May 2007 on the new maintenance facility. The facility is near completion and should open early November 2007. The new facility will allow the district mechanic the space and tools he needs to maintain the large fleet of vehicles that he is responsible for.

OLD MAINTENANCE FACILITY Once the fleet maintenance operations are moved to the new facility. The current facility will house the fire districts building maintenance and supplies for the buildings, firefighters and trucks.

FIRE STATION #8 The district has complete all required contracts and paperwork for the purchase of the property located in the Reunion development, at 103rd and Walden Street. Construction should begin before the end of 2007 with completion of the station in the summer of 2008. Click on pictures to enlarge
