SACFD Taking Care of Our Own

South Adams Fire Fighters Association (501c3) is a charitable organization that represents firefighters from SACFD, past and present.

The South Adams Fire Fighters Association supports all current and retired firefighters from South Adams County Fire. The SACFFA provides support for the Commerce City Police Fraternal Order of Police and their annual Christmas community program and Explorer program. The South Adams County Fire Fighters Association has a college scholarship program for dependents of firefighters and is also involved with community events like Meals on Wheels, Neighbor to Neighbor Program, Healing Waters for veterans with PTSD, and the annual Landmark Academy 5K Run.

The SACFFA supports the charitable work of The Professional Firefighters of South Adams County IAFF Local 5124 including, the Colorado Rapids Guns and Hoses charity game raising funds for the Fallen Hero Fund and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Fund, the annual Denver Fire Chili Cook-Off, as well as sending funds directly to fire-fighters, EMTs, paramedics, and their families dealing with cancer through the Steve Vincel Memorial Fund.
