Division Chief Hackbarth joined South Adams in 2020 as Battalion Chief and was promoted in 2021 to Division Chief of Training. Division Chief Hackbarth has 33 years in the fire service working with Richfield Fire Rescue (1990-1995) and Aurora Fire Rescue (1995-2020) before joining SACFD. D.C. Hackbarth holds a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management, CPSE Chief Fire Officer and Chief Training Officer credentials, and a Fire Service Chief Executive Officer certification from Texas A&M. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, as well as traveling.
