Kelly Renfroe

Started with South Adams County Fire in 2021. Kelly’s EMS career spans 6 years here in this district, beginning in 2015 as a volunteer EMT with Northglenn Ambulance. After completing her paramedic education at the Community College of Aurora in 2016, she remained with Northglenn Ambulance and has served in many different capacities, including paramedic field training officer, paramedic lieutenant, and critical care paramedic. In July 2021 she became a flight paramedic with Guardian Flight/Aerocare in Yuma, AZ, and has gained invaluable experience with advanced concepts and procedures while providing the highest level of critical care to the citizens of Arizona and California; experiences she now brings to SACFD. In order to best serve this department and district, she will maintain part-time status at Aerocare to ensure that her clinical knowledge and practice is kept current.
In 2013, Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health and Human Performance from St. Mary’s College of California and continued her education with post-baccalaureate work in subjects such as calculus-based physics, microbiology, and biochemistry from various higher-education institutions. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency Medical Services at Creighton University to best serve this department and the citizens of this district.
Kelly’s goal as EMS Manager is to build SACFD a premier EMS division to best serve our citizens. In accordance with our vision statement, she will go above and beyond to dominate and pioneer progress while upholding the core traditions and values of SACFD. In her words, Kelly is ecstatic to be “back in district and available” from SACFD Station 23!
